A BCO (Beneficial Cargo Owner) is the party that actually owns the goods being shipped — typically the importer or consignee. As a BCO, you have the option to contract directly with ocean carriers for better rates, or work through a broker/freight forwarder who manages the logistics on your behalf. Everlast Logistics offers BCO services that give you full visibility, control, and cost efficiency over your cargo, whether you're contracting directly or using our brokerage network.

All carriers in our network are required to maintain active cargo and liability insurance. However, standard carrier liability may not cover the full value of every shipment. We can help you understand your coverage options and coordinate additional insurance if needed for high-value freight. Our back-office team also handles claims assistance if an issue arises.
