FTL shipments involve less handling — your freight is loaded once at pickup and unloaded once at delivery. LTL freight is loaded, transferred, and unloaded at multiple terminals along the route, which increases the risk of damage or loss. For high-value, fragile, or sensitive goods, FTL is the safer choice.
We operate 53-foot vans and various van configurations for enclosed general freight. For specialized needs, we also offer reefer containers for temperature-controlled shipments and tri-axle chassis for overweight loads.
LTL is ideal when you're shipping fewer than 6 pallets or under 10,000 lbs, when cost savings are more important than speed, and when your shipment timing is flexible. You only pay for the trailer space your freight actually uses, making it significantly cheaper for smaller loads.
Choose FTL when your shipment fills most or all of a trailer (typically 10,000+ lbs or 10+ pallets), when you need faster and more predictable transit times with no intermediate stops, when you're shipping fragile or high-value goods that benefit from less handling, or when you need a guaranteed pickup and delivery schedule.
FTL (full truckload) means your shipment occupies the entire trailer — your freight is the only cargo on board, providing dedicated space and faster transit. LTL (less-than-truckload) combines multiple shippers' freight on a single trailer, making it a more cost-effective option for smaller shipments that don't require a full truck.
